Yep, it's Fordham Law School as well as a 54 story residential tower.

It's just Fordham Law School. Lowenstein is the name of a different building, but not the name of the school itself.

Lowenstein is the name of the academic building already built, McMahon is the dorm. The new law school/dorm isn't named yet, but that's what is rising (as well as Glenwood's rental tower).

Soaring through the clouds today!

I was trying to control myself, but now I'm getting seriously jealous on those people who will own this place.

The way this thing is rising, I wont be surprised if it tops before 1WTC (roof)...

One57 looks taller than Top of Rock (where that pic is taken from) judging by the perspective

It could be. Top of the Rock is 850 feet up I think. Plus it has three levels so if taken from the bottom level it might only be at 800 or so.

The cladding on One 57 has really progressed and is now visible from way down the block on 57th Street.

Not much to go to reach 1,005 feet.

Did they do the last setback already? The top floor looks narrower than the second-from-the-top on that last picture but the perspective makes it a bit hard to tell.

That is just incredible photography there, econ_tim !!
The Great Lawn in Central Park is suddenly transformed !!

The splendor of these jewels surrounding Central Park is just amazing. Notice how well the Hearst Tower on the right also makes a statement.
