Yes, but the One 57 has a stunning frontal view of CP, 220 CPS is the only one that can compete with it, but as I said, One 57 will be much taller.

Great Photos! I'd love to see more from that vantage point when this is finished. One57 is going to look incredible.

It's just a protective foil on the glass. In the end all glass will be gray

on the issue of the buyers, guys, we cant imagine their world

spending 20-30M $ on some place and then only spending a few months there a year...

but at least their money is channelled into the pocket of the laborers building this magnificent tower

and let's face it, the ultra rich will always flaunt it in our faces, this is as good as we will 'get'

The rich aren't buying this to show how rich they are. They buy it because it's got one of the best views in the world and its huge.

Maybe it's only in the operating range of the crane, so that loads carried by it will have a lesser chance of inflicting damage to the glass, but I really don't know

I think it is quite Brash when compared to the darker buildings surrounding it. Tall Buildings of the future should combine brick and glass, that would be quite a sight and i'm sure it is possible with modern technologies.

Of course it is possible.
NYC should go this way: http://www.skyscrapercity.com/showpo...&postcount=242

It's funny because those Hague projects are surely inspired by 30' art deco skyscrapers from NYC.
