I agreed previously. I'm just stating the design facts.

Buildings like One 57 have a huge design team behind them and one to review this issue. This building will have several entrances, not just hotel and residential, for so many reasons.

Those are not cranes on 1WTC. 1WTC cranes have yellow parts. Those are black..

any New Yorker , please correct me if i'm wrong........ though it's Fifth avenue, it's the Upper East side which is mostly wealthy residential, there's not a lot going on up there

it isn't the upper east side. that pic was taken closer to east harlem.

What I can say about this pic

1. One57 does tower above the rest, but from LIC, it looks very thin so it doesn't look as imposing as say, Citigroup, which is shorter

2. I see that LIC, specifically Court Square, is shaping up quite nicely.

Yes but citigroup looks more imposing because it is closer to the camera from that angle. Way closer plus there are no tall buildings near it. If we took the same photo from the jersey side, you probably wouldnt be able to spot Citigroup at all.

To me one57 clearly stands out even from that pic which makes it all the more impressive. You can see this tower from all angles no matter where you are, which is the point!
