I agree. It seems like they've only built the first of several floors at the top that slope back on the northside.

I believe they are missing 2 floors. Floor 75 and the mech floor above it. In recent renders the top has a more dramatic curve than it used to have in the older renders

You sure about that? I haven't noticed any difference between the renderings. It may just be perspective tricking you.

I really like this building. It looks like a massive waterfall, but at the same time, it has a real art-deco look to it, for some reason. Maybe it's the vertical stripes, and the elegant curves at the top. Wonderful.

BTW the crown is not topped out, but the final floor is.

Don't know what these are but they are art deco and the tower has them.
Does anyone know what these...crowns(?) are actually called?

Great visual. This is a classic art deco building in contemporary clothing.

As tall as this tower is, it's hard to believe that 432 Park and (most likely) 225 W 57th will be about 40 percent taller.

I think people's opinions on New york archtecture being old and outdated will start to change with all these new modern skyscrapers.

I checked the renders again, to me it seems the tapering in the newer renders has a far sharper angle than it has in the older renders. Here are examples:

Newer render:

Older render:
