So I guess its the mechanical floors.

They usually take longer. Topping out could happen in mid-October.

There'll be no steel structure. Concrete 'til the top

Btw, to me the two renders look different. The new one tapers at the top with a sharper angle, though that could be just an illusion and I could be wrong

There will be steel structure to enclose concrete like on every setback. It's easier to manipulate such angles and curves with steel.

Those renders are taken from completely different angles. The taper hasn't changed any.
