157 is wider, but shorter, 432 is skinnier but taller.

I was comparing in Gross Floor Area terms. The 853k figure for One57 is GFA.

This building doesn't look Art Deco at all. It looks more expressionist, which is a good thing.

heard on WCBS radio driving home yesterday morning that one of the units was sold to a Canadian businessman who teamed up with a guy from Korea i believe and paid $50 million for one of the units

Some of slopes look Streamline Moderne yes, but the many different angles that make up the tower's pinnacle don't seem Art Deco. I don't see any circus stripes, unless you're referring to the wavy ribbon pattern. I think the shape and ribbons make it more Ghery-esque expressionist.
