Went by the site today and nothing was happening. No signs of a new crane. Some pictures:

I walked by 225 W 57th on 11 Nov. Did you take any photos there?

Nope. I saw nothing happening there. In fact, the whole point of going down there was to see 225. I assumed the excavators would be doing something, but they weren't.

Strange that they would have those things sitting around doing nothing. I assume they cost money to rent.

Didn't look like they had started taking down the last building yet either although the supermarket was clearly emptier.

Hopefully something starts happening there soon.

I saw the same thing. I assume that Extell is focusing all of it's energy on getting One 57 back on track.

Anyone want to take a stab at how long this mishap sets back the completion of this project and how much money this is costing them?

I would assume the cost of all this is at least a million or two dollars.
