Hmph, I haven't got a clue about what this could mean. I've got absolutely no experience with these kind of official papers. We should ask Bob Walpole. He'll probably know what this partial stop work order means. I'll send him a PM

Surfing on the internet I happened to spot these but I was in dilemma whether to post or not? I would be a damn bummer if they'd been posted, so I rolled over to find if the pics had been posted on the date (or nearabouts) the owner actually posted. Couldn't find 'em so I wound up to posting these.
Thought it was no guilt not to have than to have double!!!
Enjoy if you all are seeing for the first time, if not still enjoy!!!

Normally they are issued for either a safety concern or a technical concern that the DOB has. In this case, it could be something to do with the removal of the Crane.

Despite being located halfway into Manhattan Island, this building is still the tallest in the area on the skyline.

Bob said that this is just a minor violation that happens often on buildings, so no need to fear that it's on hold

One real estate article claimed that the nickname among NYC realtors for this building is "Chinatown" due to a high number of Chinese buyers:

Extell better hope those Chinese buyers don't start to see One57 as an unlucky building because of this long delay in completion.

Probably complications with the destroyed crane's removal and instalation of machinery that can lift the remaining heavy parts up to the roof of the building
