I really should stop checking this thread for a while. Every time I see new posts I hope there's been some progress on the cladding, and every time I'm disappointed.

here's a nice view from the opposite angle, at night (below the TZB)
With good conditions you can even see 1 WTC, which is blocked in this view

i just read on ssp that the first piece of the new crane was lifted on the 17th. it looks like its a black turntable for the new crane. i think this verifies the theory that we must wait for the new crane for progress to continue.

It is on the west side of the Hudson, but not on the east. For instance, these huge hills/little mountains are on the east side of the Hudson and are seen in the distance in that photo. This town, Cold Spring, is about 60 miles from Midtown.
