With all these new skyscrapers being build in New York, the Empire State Building doesn't seem that tall anymore.

Saw this one today and it's a total mind flip. From up close it doesn't look that tall, but from afar it's unbelievably huge. Pics soon.

When I was there a few weeks ago, I sat in a bar for about 3 hours without even realizing I was looking out at the Empire State Building (it was night, and pretty cloudy)! lol
I was too busy looking at all the construction

Went by here again today and the crane was in action hanging over the top of the building.

Both
Only the lower third was visible, and it was my first night in NYC so I wasn't oriented yet. When you emerge from the subway at some random location and walk another few blocks to another random location (when it's dark and foggy) you lose your bearings.
