Wow! And to think the view from the top of 225 W 57th will look a lot like that picture, height and location wise.

EDIT: It will be on the other side never mind

is there any list of who has purchased these mega condos? the 50 mil and up variety? i know most if not all are cloaked in LLCs but even an unconfirmed listing would be interesting..

i think i remember seeing something previously for 15 CPW

I still think that going with the multi-hued glazing was a flawed decision but no doubt even if it's not as great a building as it could have been, it's still stunning in many respects and certainly is nowhere near as bad as some have decided. This pic is gorgeous, and I think the flaws are more forgivable because soon enough it will not only have a completed 432 Park not too far away but several other more immense towers so it doesn't stick out to much that the flaws take so much away from it. You have several more buildings likely to be developed like the Park Lane and 31 W 57th among others so I think it will blend really well and become less controversial.

If this thread is labeled as complete then it should be moved to the DN archives. Completed buildings should not stay in the U/C supertalls section.

I loved learning about this building and seeing pictures of it and New York... Thanks everybody.

Luckily we still have much more to come and rising in the same neighbourhood... I'll be watching.

Also looking forward to seeing this building live next summer. It will be awesome !
