That render makes the structure look so incredibly thin, but definitely still beautiful! In addition, you have to remember where its being built.

I did read this whole thread before posting so I was caught up but I don't remember seeing any renders from STR, so if you know where they are, you should repost them. Please

I keep feeling sorry for CHT residents. Their apartments' value must have dropped like 30% just because of this ˆˆ

Not my problem tho... beautiful tower!!

Carnegie Hall Tower is an office building, not an apartment building, if that makes you feel any better.

The views at Metropolitan Tower will be affected too, but since that one angles off to the northeast, it shouldn't be as bad.

Really amazing. STR always gives us a great insight on how the projects will be in the future.

This building is really too high, and will be a spectacular sight from the central park.

Besides, it would be cool to have a render of Central Park from the last floor of Carnegie
STR, may you show us a preview of what that would give ?

Wow, what a view! Not to mention attendants on the other side (south I believe) of the building would have just as good a view of downtown Manhattan, would they not?

I just realised something...

This building will ruin the view you have from the Rockefeller Center.
When I was in NY they said the ob deck had better views than ESB's ob deck.
This was true because of the view of Central Park, but with the Carnegie 57 tower you won't see half as much.

This will be no more:

And they aren't going to open an ob deck in this one are they? It would be a good spot because it's really a lot higher than the surrounding buildings. Like in Times Square or in vicinity of Ground Zero the buildings are so high they all ruin your view, but this tower should have a great panorama

Nope, no observation deck in this one..There were rumors at the beginning about the pool on the top floor, but that's not gonna happen too..Highest apartment will be on 72nd floor..(Upper duplex)..74th will be apartment (Lower duplex) and floors below will have only one apartment...73rd and 74th floor are mechanical and 75th, the roof is where elevator machine will be placed...
