Dino, I suspect you have at least been to the US before, correct?
Well..No.. There was plan to go last year but things went wrong..Love between me and the US was born about 7 years ago..Since then I went in contact with the people from across US and they introduced me with their cities and states so I learned a lot about it..But actually never visited "the states"..I hope I'll get the chance soon..Till then I'll continue to learn from my chair..

Well from my prospective, you are doing a lot more teaching than learning "from your chair." So for that, I thank you sir!

I see the crane is ready to jump this weekend..Last crane jump was after March 10th when they were on 8th floor...Today is April 15th, I see new crane parts, so crane will be jumped this weekend...Now they're on 14th floor..That means 6 floors were built in about 35 days..According to that, next crane jump should be at the end of May and they should be around 20th floor..Not bad..Not bad at all..

+

Back on the 58th street I see self climbing formwork..This is one of the reasons why will this tower "fly" that fast to the sky..
Only thing I can't find out is where are the concrete pumps..I would like to see pics of the ground floor on 57th and 57th street..

The tower isn't using concrete pumps. The cement mixers unload their concrete into a big bucket that gets lifted to the top by the crain. The workers then pour the concrete from the bucket into the forms, and the crane lowers the bucket to the street again.

It seems to me like the construction of this building is really Class B..

The progress is fantastic on this tower. I wish we knew definitively when the cladding is going to start. I can't wait!

This is probably a stupid question, but are the concrete supports made on site? Or are they pre-made and transported to the site?

Yes..As you can see, the crane lift wood planks and workers make formworks with them right on the spot..

Is it just me, or is this building rising extremely fast?
