Yup, took some pictures today and they did definitely raise the screens one floor. You can see it from the 58th street side where you can measure it against some markings on the adjascent building.

Definitely good news.

Wonder when the cladding starts. Looks like they have the duct work done on the lower floors but I don't see any fasteners for the cladding

^Sadly there isn't.

23th floor (Upper Duplex Appartment)

If I were the architect of those appartments, I would design it in this way:

@ Otie... I really respect your work you do with designing those, such renders. You have this designing as a hobby? Or do you have work in this field?

Definitely a dream place though in the near future!

I always wondered what it would be like to live 300m above the street. It must be fascinating.

@Otie.. Awesome renders man. Gives a good impression of the view only few people will be able to enjoy But I do hope your furniture is bit overlarge. Else they should redesign this gem right away and give it some higher ceilings!

For now, a hobby.

Yeah, the ceiling got somehow shorter. Don't take those renders seriously, I'm just messing around with the model. The typical floor height is 12' 5":

And this is how I discovered it:
First, I adjusted De Portzamparc's render/diagram on SketchUp and aligned the tip of the image to the line that marked 1005'. Then I noted that the final residential section of the building (60th to 72nd) was composed of 13 floors. So, I meassured the height of those 13 floors and got 161' 5". After that I divided that number into 13 (13 floors) and got 12' 5". Finally I started to place each floor with that height and everything matched.

Agree with everyone, great render work there. You could earn yourself some serious money if you were to take this professionally.

@Otie, your renders look very good. 3,8 m height is neat for an apartment. (should result in a ceiling height of 3,5 m)
