I agree, and that's why it's possible that One 57 will not make a huge impact in the skyline despite its height.

Hardly anything can make a great impact on Manhattan's skyline these days.
You'd need a mile-tower or something to really grab attention.

No, and I am not in town this weekend so there won't be any Sunday pics from me. Maybe someone else can go down and take some (hey Carlos, what are you doing this weekend :-) ).

Cladding should be going up any week now.

Beautiful pic! I love midtown Manhattan. What is the building with a spire between BofA and Empire State in that pic?

Jeez. There's not much pictures on this thread. I'm going to have to stop by it tomorrow.

haha. That is a good idea. I was away last weekend but will get pictures this weekend. Frankly with the lousy windscreans in place and no cladding yet there isn't much visible week to week progress.

oh gosh, that was from today? Looks exactly the same as it did when I took pics two weeks ago. Can't tell for sure because you don't have photos of the 58th street side where it can easily be measured against the neighboring building but it really looks like no movement - in fact the wind screen is off set in exactly the same way too :-(

Looks like it is always 1 week on 3 weeks off with this building

That's what I was about to say. Boring update, but thanks nonetheless.

Lol. I remember about two months ago, literally every other post was commenting on how fast this thing was rising
