Great diagram Otie. The only quible can be that the wind screens in the front are a tad bit lower and also not all lined up. Thanks so much for the diagram, it is very helpful to have this perspective.

Off topic: man did they blow an oppertunity by not making the Heart tower 2 or 3 hundred feet taller. That would have been a nice building to have more prominently displayed on the NY skyline and also to help make the west side more balanced with the east side.

BTW, from 400 to 700 feet there are no set backs or anything else to get in the way. Time to haul ass on this.

Otie: VERY nice. Is it possible to add Bank of America in the mix just to see how it would compare? (And 600 West, I think just about everyone would concur with your statement regarding Hearst.)

No cladding up yet.

If it is on site it should be installed soon.

I usually don't go accurate with construction stuff :P if you look closely to the last 1WTC diagram there are few errors, by that time no perimeter columns were installed, the flag featured at the base is a 48-star-flag, it's missing the east and west construction hoist, the cocoon safety net is not well aligned with the tower, the column and floor beams just behind the black netting that are above the spray fireproofing should be brown instead of the background color... etc.. etc. etc...
Next time I'll pay more attention

This isn't the place to ask, but why is that a 48-star flag?

The one 7 or so buildings away, next to an Italian flag

How can you tell it's 48 stars?

Ha, no mates! I'm talking about what Otie was saying a few posts up. The flag hanging from 1 WTC has 48 stars and I was asking why.

Nevermind! After looking back I saw what you meant, Otie! The actual flag on 1 WTC has 50 stars and your diagram has 48. I thought you were saying it was the other way around so I was confused. Sorry!

Ridiculously Tall One57 Has Officially Reached 27 Stories
Friday, September 23, 2011, by Sara Polsky

The someday-skyline-busting One57, the Extell condo/hotel megatower, began construction more than a year ago, and, well, skyline busted! A tipster passes along the above construction shot with the note, "They're at 27 stories now and visible from the park." Information about the project has been trickling out at about the same pace as construction, the last update we heard being that the building will have a $98 million, 90th-floor penthouse. Hey, maybe by the time the tower gets that high, we'll have saved up enough $$.
The folks at Skyscraper City have been tracking the tower's progress, too, and one of them made a nifty building height comparison diagram, the future One57 included:
