Tower 1: G+21 floors now.


Tower 2: G+10 floors.


Tower 3: Substructure completed.


Tower 4: Load testing is going on.

Ke boleche project mayer bhoge gelo?? Paisa diye sab kena jaye seta ki jano na?? Kissu hobe na; at the max Urbana developers have to pay some penalty as compensation for the addditonal price of land. Dont forget around 2000 crores is at stake here & the builders are some of the most influential entities in real estate the country.

Tai naki?? Such land scams in real estate are rampant all around India, dude. Haven't u heard of The DLF's illegal land transactions in Gurgaon / Noida belt all these years?? Even the recent one involving a close relative of Congress supremo is hot in the air. Or maybe u are not aware of the recent Adarsh Coperative society scam in Mumbai?? Just try to get a little knowledge about real estate land scams around India, then come & comment here. U will find Kolkata real estate market is much stable & cleaner than most other metro zones. Just one such project is under scanner in Kolkata & u are ashamed of the state. I sincerely doubt how many forumers here will be ashamed of the state knowing of this news. Rather I might be ashamed of the fact that people like u, who make such comments for any paltry reasons whatsoever, are actually from the state.

not only that people here are openly supporting corruption...we heard the same logic during hindmotor case...ultimately state is getting hundreds of crores as penalty and the issue got resolved if I read the last report correctly..

what is the problem if we find out some wrong doings(if at all) by some individuals and correct it and compensate state's loss and as Samrat says compare to other states we are in a much better position..

We only read that the compensation has gone to state's coffers. Great, if that actually happened. But I really have doubt wether the penalties go to state fund or some chitfund/Ruling Party fund.

About corruption, people in WB are too frustated about the sorry states of affair here. We are more concerened about the developments rather than corruption which has plagued India as a whole. So, corruption, yes, has taken a backseat here. We badly need some good developments. If that comes by feeding some politician/party, so be it. For the time being, I don't have a problem here.

Absolutely. If the state was robbed of rightful money & the administration is trying to bring the individuals to pay for that, what's the wrong here. Anybody who thinks that the project is 'mayer bhoge' has actually no idea about real estate & the potential power of big developers.

It is a common practice for any govt to scoop out illegal activities or wrongdoings of previous govt to hog the limelight & political mileage. This would have happened even if somebody else other than TMC were in power. This happened constantly for the last 2 decades in NCR belt where BJP & Congress regime would dig each others grave when ever they came to power; Builders like DLF & Unitech were the ones involved in most of the cases. But did anything happen eventually. The answer is a big NO. Because the same govt which is busy accusing its predecessors will eventually indulge in such acts themselves. Big developers pump in thousands of crores in the state exchequer boss, not to mention the ruling party fund. Its not a cakewalk to hamper a project of the stature of Urbana. But some people are too ashamed of Kolkata because they are blind to any such incidents or complications that are happening in other parts of the country.
