Well, that makes Calgary a significant city and gives it its unique character I suppose once this project is finished and Calgary can be seen as the city of Twin Towers!

At least they don't build all of the same, all covered with that blue/greenish glass.

I wanted to take some pictures of EAP's glazing during yesterday's gloomy gray day. Looks good even in that kind of weather.
There are a few more pics Here

It's not really hard to count lol. The cladding is at the 14th floor..

Edit: You're right, if you're wondering how tall the core is, you need a picture which provides a better view.

The core is around the 28/29th floor, glass is up to 6th floor.

Is there a rivalry between Calgary and Edmonton? I would expect there to be. Hate to be Edmonton right now though!

Yes, a century old rivalry. To the consternation of Calgary, Edmonton was chosen as capital of Alberta and the home of the University of Alberta. Calgary seems to have over come those setbacks. It overtook Edmonton about a decade ago to become Alberta's biggest city, and its skyline now dwarfs that of Edmonton.

Edmonton's population is still growing by about 10% every 5 years, but Calgary continues to grow even faster. Edmonton does seem to exist in Calgary's shadow these days, but the rivalry in sports is as intense as ever.

In football, the Edmonton Eskimos vs Calgary Stampeders is one of the best rivalries in Canadian sport.
