It's turning out better than I expected. I like the little hat on top as well.

This is a unique tower for a unique city. The hat on top is a great addition, will give it some skyline recognition. I can't put my finger on it, but it almost seems like a 50's architectural idea.

I viewed a show room when this project first came on the market. They had some reasonably priced units with really interesting floor plans. One featured a long corridor of a washroom with doors at both ends. One door faced the foyer, the other the bedroom area. The washroom could be divided in two. This is one of the better condos going up.

There are a number of towers going up in Toronto that don't have threads. I suppose the less substantial developments are being ignored due to the number of other towers hogging all the spotlight. I thought CASA was one of the ignored towers that deserved a thread, so I started one.

Across the street is another condo tower with the strange name, 'Bloor Street Neighbourhood'. I'll look into starting a thread for it even though it's half finished already. It may have to go in the 'General Developments' section since it is only 99 metres tall. The cut off for the high rise section is 100 metres. The original building was 20 floors, then increased to 26 floors. I'm not sure whether the further application to go to 35 floors was approved. If the 35 floor application was approved this needs to go in the 'Highrise' section.

Here's a link to the condo in the Toronto section: http://www.skyscrapercity.com/showth...=326898&page=5

Thanks for the update. This area was in dire need of a some sparkle. The area is great at street level, but the buildings are quite dowdy and grim. CASA and all the other towers planned for this area are going to really make a huge difference.

Very nice density. I'm glad that this tower is glassy. Really breaks up the older gray and brown concrete.
