Last visited Delhi in May 2008. Went thru IGI obviously. Thought I saw a renovated terminal which was still cramped with many people and I said to myself, why am I not surprised ?
Didnt know T3 was coming up as a whole new addition especially for the CommonWealth games. Looks really good from the pictures so far.
When did T3 construction start ?

lol yes I recall they had cardboard placed everywhere that said 'Building a world class airport, sorry for the inconvenience' and none of us believed much of it and were just pissed, then i went back in August when everything was finished with the renovation and was amazed.

T3 will open in July and be fully operational at the end of July along with an Airport Express line.

India deserves such projects to handle the increased air traffic due to a lot of economic activities going on. It is amazing to see the country getting transformed into an economic giant!!

Hey I not believe this is Delhi air port because before couple of year at that time it looks very different and within two year drastic changes I saw through these photos . I can't believe this .
