Nice shots UrbanSG. Those apartments look pretty nice considering they are supposed to be low income housing.

I agree. They look about par to what's around at Mawson Lakes.

Those renders make it look amazingly tall, enough so that I'm worried what CASA has to say.
These will be the first high-rise buildings west of Morphett Street. |

Those street level apartments are pretty tall aswell, the whole development is going to look so out of place. But hopefully it will kick start more mid/high rise developments in that area. Because at the moment that area doesn't resemble anything like a CBD, more like a dodgy inner suburb.
I'm glad they have included that brick feature, it looks fantastic.

![]() I like that they are keeping the facade of the Balfours factory in this development, but the red brick style looks out of place. Would look great if it was rendered. Guess we'll just wait and see.

Here is a scanned article from today's Advertiser page 11 regarding the 2nd residential stage of The Precinct. It was only in black and white:
![]() This is the tower nearest to the Gallery building I am guessing and the view is a southerly perspective. It looks great. Nice design for an apartment tower. These will get snapped up in no time. I wish I could afford one, the views would be amazing. I guess this one will start early next year. Urban Construct and Multiplex have proven their quick turn around times with Newport Quays and given Adelaide's rising house prices this precinct may develop quicker than first expected. |

Would've been nice if it was a little taller, but I like the overhang, much like at Newport Quays.

I'll reserve my judgement when I see a coloured render
