They're going to replace the stones in bascarsija and build an underground parking complex to suit the old town and Ferhadija apparently. They're also going to reconstruct the base of the famous Sarajevo sebilj.

Yes, some stones are cracked, but I really don't see the point of doing this project because of those small reasons... I was just wondering, how many cars do you think pass by the old town? When I walk by, I hardly ever see any... |

No offense guys, but what's so special about this Bosmal?
It looks like a typical new commieblock. Maybe I'm just ignorant and don't know the whole story... ?

It's not that big of a deal, it's just the tallest building in the Balkans. I, as do many others, think that as a cool thing to have the tallest building in the Balkans...Except for that, I think it looks pretty cool and it's a large investment, that's bringing quite a bit of money... |

When completed, it will be two towers of 118 meters! For the size of Sarajevo, it's really got a pretty good idea of it's future skyline...

Ok, I was just surfing the net and I stumbled on http://www.sarajevo-x.com. The web-site has some great pictures, and I thought that it would be good to show them to you...
SARAJEVO - Small shot of Sarajevo's skyline. Pictures that show's the multcultural part of Sarajevo. Picture that barely show's the UNITEC. Pictures of the Cathedral. ![]() Picture of some pedestrian zones. Intersection on a rainy day. Holiday Inn Nice building. Some construction. Picture looking down river. Street. Energoinvest. Interesting Night-Shoot. Well, enjoy... Last edited by TimurTaljanovic; December 23rd, 2004 at 09:25 AM. |

Yes, so is alot of ruined things during the war...Even more important, the new projects are getting really annoying because they don't just stick to offices, or residentials, they cover EVERYTHING! |
