Fine job indeed , but here's something interesting that you don't know , Bosina has a few bigger cities besides Sarajevo , well maybe not that big , well anyway people keep telling me that every big project is in Sarajevo , what about the rest of the country , in fact there aren't any big projects at all in the whole country exepct sarajevo , it should be! it should heave been , every single building is being reconstructed and even a new ones are rising

yes, BOSNIA WAS MOSTLY RURAL SOCIETY, BUT IT HAD FEW BIGGER CITIES, I WOULD INCLUDE ALL THE CITY OF OVER 40 000 POPULATION CENSUS 1991

BIGGEST CITY WAS SARAJEVO 416 497 POPULATION 1991 CENSUS
2) BANJA LUKA 143 079 ITS NOW UNDER SERB CONTROL
3) ZENICA BIGGEST CITY IN MIDDLE BOSNIA HAD 96 027
4) TUZLA BIGGEST CITY AND INDUSTRIAL REGION OF NORTHEASTERN BOSNIA HAD 83 770 PEOPLE
5) MOSTAR 75 865 BIGGEST CITY IUN HERZEGOVINA REGION OF BOSNIA, NOW DIVIDED BETWEEN CROATS AND BOSNIANS, SOMETHING LIKE WEST BERLIN AND EAST
6) BIHAC BIGGEST CITY IN NORTHWESTERN BOSNIA HAD 45 553
AND BRCKO DISTRICT ONCE UNDER SERB CONTROL, NOW MULTHIETHNIC HAD 41 406 PEOPLE

those are all official results of last census bosnia had in 1991

they are few other cities, but i choose to gave u bigger cities in bosnia

I am working on that.

I am out of Bosnia and I must first found someone who will give us newest photo update from Sarajevo.

OK, I did that and I think if we are lucky than in Monday we will have newest photos update from BCC, Avaz Towers and etc. in Sarajevo.

My goodness ....... the biggest towers in Sarajevo are now under construction, they are the BOSMAL TWIN TOWERS.

At 118m high, they are also the highest buildings in the Balkan region.

I'll get you some pics ..........

It looks like Sarajevo is recovering after the war. It's a good news!
Bosmal Twin Towers look really nice! It would be a symbol of new Sarajevo.

I would like to see entire BiH in EU soon.

Thanks for your comments, and of course all Sarayliyas and Bosnians would like to see the country in the EU soon. There are some political issues to deal with before our entry, and all the scars of war have to be cleaned up. Mostly the economy has to return to where it was before the war. Before the war Bosnia was the most industrial of all the Yugoslavian provinces, but it was devastated during the war. Many think full recovery will happen in some 10-15 years. Already, Bosnia has a higher gdp and gdp per capita than several EU states. Overall, excpect to see us in the EU by 2010 if all goes as planned, and 2014 by the latest. 2012 is also likely.

Herzegovina is an outdated term that's been stuck to the nation name since the 1800's. The basic reason is that certain Herzegovinian land lords betrayed their compatriots during the Bosniak revolution of 1830 and for that were given more priviliges and Herzegovina was given equal status to Bosnia in Ottoman government. The presence of the name has been there for 200 years, and Herzegovinians anyways are fairly proud people, so most people prefer to have Herzegovina in the country name as well. Really Herzegovina is just like "Dalmatia", "Krajina" and "Sandzak". A few people think Herzegovina should even be seperate from Bosnia but these are an extreme minority, even in nationalist circles. Bosnia is the conventional short form for the country name, just like you'd call the United States of America "USA" or "America".
