3rd installed crane has some other specification than previous ones. It's probably IHI JCC 900HK crane...

They're construction the above-ground floors already? I hate top-down construction methods, especially the complicated method used for the basement.

Too complicated. Same goes for bottom-up demolitions as well (a la 122 Leadenhall in London).

Since when is there such a thing as 'too complicated' in skyscraper construction? Unique processes are what make watching these projects so interesting.

They could have done it the easy way but then this site would still be a deep hole in the ground. A quite complicated deep hole for 6 underground floors in this location right next to the old terminal building and it's not like they are building this tower on bedrock.
