I just noticed the fact that you haven't folded over the 4 top parts of ICC like it is supposed to be, see my model pictures And I thought WTF is wrong with the height. Ok no big deal You can also use a paper cutter or something to scar the paper at the folding lines so they can be folded easer and give a better result.

Metal Souvenir Buildings

I told you I sucked at putting the models together. i especially have trouble with folding at certain points. But thanks for the tips, i will use them in the future. And once again Rei, thanks for the models, even though I cant put them together like you, I still love having them. and if you think ICC is bad, I have mutilated some of your other creations, lol. I guess i need to have more patients when putting these together.

The SWFC (new design) looks really great. Where did you buy it?

I personally love that they made both versions, but the new version looks really good.

Welcome to Miniaturopolis

I'd like to show off my collection, too.

My entire collection:

Overviews of the central business district.

Overhead view:

It's mostly InFocusTech and Danbury Mint, and several are actual souvenirs from Washington, D.C., Florida and Europe.

Thanks, kevmr25! We seem to have several of the same IFT buildings!

Both of those, as well as my lighted Empire State Building and Chrysler Building, my Salt Lake City Mormon Temple, and the Pentagon were from the Danbury Mint, and all are regrettably no longer in production. If you want to find them, eBay is your best bet. InFocusTech, however, does have the Sears Tower at a more accurate scale, among about 400 other buildings.

I'm a very big fan of IFT's work... I highly recommend them.

Yeah, I bought it before they stopped production. All they have left on the official site is lighthouses, but you can probably still find that and some of the other old buildings on eBay, if you're willing to hunt for a couple of weeks...

before anybody says anything some of my buildings are out of scale, but I am more interested in building a skyline than having everything on the exact same scale.

Thanks Rei, I am going to be adding some ships to my little harbor area and some other unique things. I am trying to figure out now how to add a little landscape to the settings.
