Irkutsk

The city is located in southern Siberia, on the river Angara, not far from Lake Baikal. It takes its name from the Irkut river, a smaller river which joins the Angara directly opposite the city.
The distance to Moscow is 5042 km and to Vladivostok 2887 km.
Population: 587,000 (2011)

Astrakhan
