Ipswich

I crossed the Bremer River into the heart of the city.

My brother is moving there to study in Brisbane (he's Canadian).

The heart of the city has quite a spacious feel to it. I thought I liked walkable/cramped downtowns, but such liberal use of space looks rather luxurious to me.

Its been FOUR years since this been created. Time for a follow up.

Anyways, Tower Central has finished up like this. A nice office complex.

The "new one under construction" happened to be the new Ipswich Courthouse, completed in October 2009.

Icon Ipswich is the big development to watch in central Ipswich over the next few years. The project includes redevelopment of the existing retail spaces, two office towers and apartment towers to house 1000 residents.
