Mussoda님, do you know anything about the new Korean World
Trade Center? I heard they are going to build a new one which will
be the tallest in Seoul? Share some info if you have some thanx~!

Never heard of Korean World Trade Center among the planned supertalls in Seoul.

Hope that helps.

I guess Brian is indicating the "International Convention Complex" beside Jamsil stadium? It'd be possible as the new highest one competing with "Seoul light" project at Sangam DMC, cuz not finalized for its accurate height and size.

I wish the dreamtower and green gateway tower gets built. Just several 500m+ towers can change the entire city skyline of Seoul and we deserve one

Why? Aren't they interesting and amazing in the sense of how far Korea has come in a short time? I have several coffee table books of old pictures of Korea. Interesting stuff.

^ But they are old pics of Seoul, not current pics of seoul or its suburbs. I.e., they should be posted in a different thread.

IMO, we should just let benken have his own thread in the Korean forum and stick it up somewhere, like in the skybar or something. The annoyance aside, we gotta commend his arduous effort to bring back the past.

Yes, it's amazing and interesting. But some of us had the unfortunate experience with scums who justify imperialism with progress under colonial rule. I, of course, don't generalize these scums on the Japanese, because the lot of them, very contrary to their former political regime, sympathize and participate enthusiastically with the anti-imperialist movements today.

This thread is absolutely stunning.

I just have a question here, is it right that the majority of South Korean population live in Seoul ?

Thanks.

just about 10million people live in Seoul,, so it's 20% or so.

in Seoul Metropolitan Area (including Seoul), 24milion live.. so it's almost 50%.

thanks.
