haven't seen any, probably because its by different companies (they don't want to show any of the other company's buildings, specially if it looks better)

it would have been better if they wrapped everything in glass...not just the front and back. the front/back façade is okay but the sides aren't.

ALTHOUGH the tallest building in the country, Gramercy Residences, was topped out only last year, Picar Development Inc. has already broken ground for the next tallest skyscraper in the Philippines – the 312-meter Movenpick Hotel and Stratford Residences on Kalayaan Ave. in Makati City.

The building, which is scheduled to be completed in 2016, will actually be the third tower of Stratford Residences (302 meters high) and is planned to have 70 storeys with views of Gramercy Residences and the Makati City Hall.

The building will host the 324-room Movenpick Hotel and Stratford Residences with its 280 residential apartments. It was principally designed by architect Jose Pedro C. Recio, founder of Rchitect Inc.

Picar’s Chairman and a visionary, former Ambassador Amable R. Aguiluz V said Movenpick is to become the preferred lodging for leisure and business travelers.

“One of the fastest rising hotel chains in the world, the Movenpick name entails passion for hospitality and attention to detail—two features that allowed the brand to gain the trust of various clients from all over the globe.”

MANILA, Philippines - The urban cityscape of Makati will in no time be heightened by what will soon be recognized as the address of an integrated hotel and suburban spaces that will merge design and comfort at Picar Place Kalayaan Avenue, Makati City.

Picar Development Inc. recently broke ground for Movenpick Hotel and Resorts, an upscale Swiss hotel chain and management company. Ambassador Amable R. Aguiluz V, Picar’s chairman and a visionary, says Movenpick is to become the preferred lodging for leisure and business travelers, who wish for distinctly well-appointed accommodations during their stay in the country. “One of the fastest rising hotel chains in the world, the Movenpick name entails passion for hospitality and attention to detail—two features that allowed the brand to gain the trust of various clients from all over the globe.”

Rising 70-story high, Movenpick Hotel and Stratford Residences Tower 3 will comprise of hotel and residences and is up for completion in 2016. The 604-room premium establishment, designed by its principal Architect Jose Pedro C. Recio, founder of Rchitect Inc. will feature 324 hotel rooms and 280 residential apartments—all generously-sized with European designs and refined furnishings. Aside from The Stratford Residences, Picar Place is also the home of Buddha Bar Manila, the most luxurious bar and restaurant in the country, and the biggest Buddha Bar restaurant in the world. Movenpick Hotel and Resorts and another magnificent tower of Stratford Residences will also rise in this site. Picar Place is envisioned to be the living and a hospitality hub of the Makati district – featuring pioneering global hospitality, housing and entertainment concepts.
