What a poor response. El Greco has lived in London for a long time and knows the city and its history. Actually, one does not have to live in a city to know its history. Iīm quite confident that I know much more about Londonīs history than the average Londoner.

You poor boy are you still sore over losing the latest argument? Aww

I always win.
I live here, I work here, I play here, therefore Im a Londoner. You dont have to be born in London to call yourself a Londoner and thats exactly why I, and many people like me choose London over provincial crap-holes as their home. Im sure that in a provincial little town like Cardiff Id be called 'fecking foreigner taking our jobs'! No wonder its so shite.

I dont think you have 'won', back again for another demonstration of how stupid you can be and how the majority dont agree with you?

Agree with you that you dont have to be born somewhere to be local, like you dont have to have a dick on your head to be one El Greco. I think there is quite a high proportion of foreign people in Cardiff, you know its still very childish of you to city bash but i guess thats not below you as proven many times. What argument are you making now, would you like to argue that someone agrees with you when they said they didnt lol (ie central london boundaries). You should really stop trolling and show images of waterways

Just leave El Greco alone. Don;t encourage him.

The things he says about Cardiff are laughably inaccurate, but it's still embarrassing to read them.

IS there a way you can ignore individual posters on here?

Actually, Cardiff has an extremely proud history of welcoming people from all over the world. In fact, it has never existed as a large town or city without being multicultural.

The development of the city through the docks guaranteed that. I don't mind you falling out with cardiff the poster, but I take objection to you slighting my city at any given opportunity. If you want to do that then you are just bringing skyscraper city down to a very low level.

Just don't bother El Greco, it's pointless and childish. Reminds me a little of the 14 year old chavs 'bigging it up' about football hooliganism on messageboards! Take it elsewhere and argue about which of you has the smallest penis somewhere else.

That just sums up your attitude perfectly. It's people like you that make Londoners look like stuck up arses.

You say ignore 'him' but yet cant do it yourself!

Notice that it was Cardiff that derailed the thread (then and now) by saying - 'El Greco is arguing over something else thats stupid and he wont win' . Funnily in the next post he actually agrees with me! Also notice that some posts ago I said that Id stay on topic as long as Cardiff kept his jaws shut. He didnt. Blame him.

Well you can call us so if it makes you feel better, but the fact of the matter is we are not. You (provincials) simply consider many things we enjoy doing (fine dining, drinking in modern bars, visiting museums, attending lectures etc) as snobbish and elitist. Theres nothing snobbish about that. Its just a nice way to spend time. Beats getting pissed in a dingy pub with your mates while watching footy.

But I do all that in Portsmouth... I dont consider that Snobby at all, I consider your attitude snobby. Also, we arent 'provincials', we're Pompodians, Mancunians, Liverpudlians, Brummies, Glaswegians, etc etc etc

When did I claim to be a Londoner?

It makes me a well-educated, wiser than the average Londoner Helsinkian.

El Greco you are such an idiot! has it always been the world against you? I havent lost anything, i only agreed that you are a dick head and you are whatever you want to be (which to you must be a moron). Not only have you proven without doubt that you are a snob when it comes to all things British but you have now shown your true colours towards anything outside the M25. Perhaps you are just nieve and need to explore this great country of ours, it definately seems so. Anyway i cant wait for you to stop trolling this thread and derailing it (try having a look at how many pics you have posted in it, and how many i have).

Wow, someone's horribly misinformed with the whole "us and them" mentality. From that, anyone would think that the provincial cities were yet to acquire the likes of museums, restaurants, modern bars and lecture halls! Get over yourself, this is the UK. Provincial cities have all these things, maybe you should open your eyes to that fact.

And for your information, there are plenty of "dingy" pubs where groups of friends watch football in London. Find a "dingy" pub, find some friends, and you'll find it's also a nice way to spend time. Beats being stuck up your own arse.

I would rather spend an evening in a shit pub in Portsmouth with true friends who love and care for me then in a trendy pretentious bar in London with a bunch of faceless scene kids any day. And I do.
