Normally I like Zaha Hadids creations. But this one:
![]() How can they ruin the historic building like that? And as the other drawings are even worse, I wonder what kind of fucked up competition was that? |

The idea of the competition was actually to build something next to it instead of ontop of it. Although the chairman of the jury liked the design he was somewhat disappointed by it and certainly with the ones from the other contestants.

That gives me the impression that the architects can't read! Only the second drawing seems to fulfil this criteria. It is also the one out of those above which I like the most

It's splendid! And yep, the best has definitely won, which is rare in those contests... Are you sure that it was not the purpose to build something on top of it? Cause all the contestants seem to have done it, a bit weird no? Anyway, I think it's a fantastic design!

Zaha Hadid is definitely the best one. Very elegant new building above the old administration building. I'm glad this design has won the competition.
The others are all hideous, especially this one below . This is not architecture, but an insult to the old building.

I agree with Ramses. Those other proposals are real ugly

I don't know if building such a thing on top of a historic structure is a good ideia.
Anyway,Zaha's proposal seems to be floating above the old building,so it's not that intrusive. |
