Sorry but this is atrocious. The horrible cladding is what irritates me the most... it should be an unwritten rule that random cladding should never be used, especially on a structure that screams for attention in the first place.

If the cladding is going to be anything like what's shown in the renders in the first page then this could become quite a looker - good proportions and good concept...and random cladding can be good too.

Great project!!! This will look great with quality materials, which Zaha is usually good with.

Love the unification of old and new... Love the cladding design and colour, but I really dislike is the actual shape of the glass extension. Regardless, this is a splendid project. - G

Don't know why this was still on 'prep'. Changed the status. Great project

Totally agree. All those projects are awful, even Hadid's one. I don't understand how a city like Antwerpen can ruin this beautiful historical building.

I don't see the problem. I love this mix between old and modern, and I would be mad if it got torn, or the modern building was completely covering the old one. But it's not, so I think it's fine in my completely humble and honest opinion.

Nothing is being ruined here. The old building is nothing special. However now it will be the centrepiece of the area, an icon and an attraction all in itself.

Sure, but the CC8800 is anyway one of the biggest/highest capacity crawler cranes in the world.
