showing BAT versions, or landmarks, of real buildings was not the purpose of this thread...maybe you could never tell that, or see what else had been going on in this thread, before you decided to show the BATmarks in your city, which wasn't the point, as they're obviously reality buildings (unless you spotted variable similarities, like BAT buildings that aren't real buildings but are a lot like real buildings, like the others shown in this thread. -

@ Woko
I have found another real building on this picture of Woko. The grey office building in the left is a copy of the Daily News Building in NY. ![]() Check this: http://www.emporis.com/en/wm/bu/?id=115394 Last edited by DutchSkyscraperFan; August 25th, 2004 at 07:30 PM. |

My citys never grow like this. Once they get to around 150k, development halts, the city's plagued with the ugly black buildings, and my industry dead. Anyone got any tip's to get city's like you've got?

I'm sorry, but chill out.

While I agree with you about the broader concept of copyright, I would just like to comment that I think you are overreacting in a larger sense. IMO you've taken the time, effort, and skill to produce that picture(s). And I can understand your desire for credit, or if the photo that's in question was used for a commercial project. But this is a website forum. It's like complaining about eatting cheap food when you're sitting in a McDonald's. Ask for the cred - but don't make it you're bloody life. ~bitter~ |

Anyway, this case was solved a long time ago and I don't see any reason to waste more time on it. On with the discussion.....
