What's that stuff in in the water outside Redwood City?

Very nice, looking at the London aerials, it doesn't look hard to get a archieve a skyline like them.

Great pics these, FREKI. I'm always too slow/lazy getting my camera when an aerial photo opportunity comes from an airplane..

its not allowed, yet i always take photos during landing/takeoff when im flying.

Great pics, Greenland & Canada pics are the best aerial pics, really nice to see.

I still have no idea.. the entire bottom part of San Francisco bay is filled with such "basins" invarious colours..

I would guess something chemical, but based on the large population in the area and the fact that it has a serious Earthquake zone that seems rather risky..

That's Copenhagen for you - nearly 1 million living like that..

But in defense of us, CPH started sprawling suburban out around 100 years ago, so while often associated with the US, it's just as much a European invention - we're just better as keeping it mixed and connected on this side of the pond, so less negative attention

Btw i live in the commie blocks formed as the letter "L" right beside the Circle in the picture Island of Zealand - northern Køge.

Earlier tonite when I was descending into O'Hare, Chicago looked like an endless "motherboard"/circuitboard stretching out to the horizon. I had my camera by my feet, but was too lazy getting it out... yet another missed opportunity!
