I'm curious as to what the authorities have planned to connect T5 with the other terminals?

Will Etihad do a bacon sandwich for that price? I didn't think so.

tullamarine I don't think Etihad (or Emirates for that matter) will do a bacon sandwich at any price!!! Qantas customers on Sydney/Melbourne-London lost bacon from the breakfast menu following the Emirates alliance.

BaconButty I finally understand the true horrors of globalization.

Or a extension of the CGL (aka the East West line brunch line) plus a KLIA-ish transport

The line is part of east west line (aka the Green line) but in the forums many called it CGL because the code LTA gave.

I am referring to the station name, maybe they can extend the green line

They should be building another station in T5 since location quite far from other terminals and if using the skytrain would be troublesome for passengers with luggages

I can see my house O_O,

Back on topic: T5 won't be done till mid 2020's so it's still a long way more, the construction effort will be huge as it's meant to handle 50 million passengers or more by itself as Changi Airport switches to Alliance based terminals in the near future.

I must say... that expansion plan really seals SIN's place as Southeast Asia's regional aviation hub. I wonder if Manila can do that... with Singapore's help.

And speaking of airlines operating to Singapore... here's a new one:

MIAT Mongolian Airlines B767-300ER (reg. JU-1021) -- on its inaugural service from Ulan Bator via Beijing

To have that

U need three things
1. Demand (increasing cargo and passengers pax)
2. Money
3. Expertise

Manila's airport is already busting at its seams... it is already carrying over 30 million passengers per year (and its runways already at overcapacity), and it is expected to increase further in the next few years. Not to mention, there is no more space for further terminal growth as the area surrounding the airport has been heavily built up that even building a short, parallel runway is not even viable. We have some money, sure (but of course, political corruption eventually makes that money go away like magic), and expertise is something we desperately need. Changi Airport staffers have visited Manila lately to assess the situation of the airport's aging Terminal 1 (which was branded as the worst airport in the world by a travel website), and it seems that there is little to no movement for collaboration...
