Err, Terminal 4 is not in the picture. I think you have mistaken the Project Jewel site for Terminal 4. Project Jewel is basically an extension of Terminal 1.

Aren't the works to the left of the image T4 or are they not?

Well, they are kind of related but it is not Terminal 4 itself.

I personally feel changi airport doesnt looks great from outside/exterior

However the interior is very modern, comfy and nice.

Unlike suvarnabhumi airport which looks very grand from outside but not comfortable inside

The airport was built in the 80's and had several modernisation renovations and additions.
Also it's award winning.

What is on the outside does not matter, as long as it looks decent.

What is inside that matter. There is no point of having an airport with grandeur exterior, but uncomfortable interior and lousy service.

BKK is modern but very dark and man cave like. SIN would have to be by far the best airport I've travelled via during transit to Europe. It has the wow factor with large variety of shops & food plus warmth.

BKK also a huge problem with its deperature immigration bottlenecks. Too much walking over and under, and the lines are too long with passengers lined up in a small space... uncomfortable.

I only remember bkk airport has unpleasant smell in their toilet, hot during the day as aircon not powerful enough and lounges with chair seems not in good condition.

However exterior is very nice and dropping off area is cool

For me it's the cozy feeling. Somehow I always feel comfortable in SIN.
From the airports I've been, some airports are better in certain aspects, but overall, SIN is still the best IMHO.

I love this Green Wall in Singapore Changi Airport and it is the major feature.
