Your photos are nice, but too small.

Nice thread.
We can´t call Maracanã a district, this "neighborhood" is between São Cristovão and Tijuca and there´s only one building in this "district" which is the MARACANA stadium and their sport complex.

What???
Of course not. Where did you learn that?
All the buildings you see around the stadium, the CEFET, the Petrobras building, and everything until the Praça Varnhagen are part of Maracanã. It's one of the oldest and most tradicional neighbourhoods of the city.

Okay You´re right Petrobras at General Canabarro is still Maracanã so I´m sorry. But there´s a lot of people who lives in Maracanã and say that they live in Tijuca, and a lot of people who live in São Cristovão which say that they live in Tijuca and you probably know the reason...

Yes, but these are people without personality. Maracanã is a great neighbourhood on its own. There's no reason that someone should be ashamed of living there.

You're doing a very nice thread. Keep posting these pictures from less known places.
Você devia postar esse tópico no fórum brasileiro também.

I´ll Try to keep posting, tomorrow I´ll have more unsual pics of our city...

Na realidade, tem mts tópicos no forum brasileiro sobre isso, já encontrei tópicos com fotos das cidades da Baixada Fluminense, Meier, Jacarépagua, Centro, Recreio e etc...

Actually, there´s a lot of threads of "non-turistic" pictures at the brazilian forum with pics from Baixada Fluminense, Meier, Jacarecapagua, Downtown, Recreio, Barra and many other places...

But it's always nice to have a more general view. Well, it's just an idea.
One more thing: you have to credit the photos, and since they are not yours this thread should be in "Cityscapes and Skyline Photos"

Send a PM to one of the moderators asking them to move it. I think Taller, Better is the best option. He seems to be the most active of them.
