Very interesting.
But still there is no way that the innocent North Korean citizens will realize the country is one of the poorest ones in the world.  It looks like South Korea about 30~40 years ago... |

Only if Seoul had a large plaza and still had romanesque architectures like that it would've been a much more historical city. However, just imagine the two Koreas uniting someday...do you think it'll have two capitals? One for administrative and historical and one for economical, cultural, and commercial? If two Koreas unite, I'm sure we'll surpass any other country's tourism industry for sure

Looks so peaceful, just like many countries in the 50's or 60's. Would be a nice place to live without that crazy government.

lol,, shopping in Seoul and going north to Pyongyang to wandering around ruins of Kim's regime will give tourists stunning and unque impressions which not given from any other countries in universe, and it's apparently a big time rather than just Seoul and DMZ sightseeing.. In this way, I mean, synergy effect will present an unexpected motive to tour into United Koreas.. then,, tourism in korea can be a major attraction enough,, even if not that "surpassing any other countries" literally.. Let's open to every possiblity.

Wow really interesting photos. North Korea looks a lot like China, more so than I thought, from the architecture style, the countryside, bikes on the streets, even the pavement on the ground, I swear in one of those photos the tiles on the ground are exactly the same as the ones in the little town where I'm from.
Be really interesting once the place comes out of its self-imposed isolation, its almost like discovering a new country of 23 million inhabitants, imagine all the opportunities (and problems :S). Hope for the this era of isolation to end soon so its people may come in contact with the outside world without persecution. |
