Surely the bigger the hotel the worse the service!? I stayed in las Vegas (luxor) and its one of the worst hotels ive been in. Best hotel i have been in was only about 5 rooms. This preocupation of whats the biggest is really weird, why not whats the best?

Why do all those other hotels have to be so insanely huge!! Although there is a new hotel currently under construction at Crown Casino in Melbourne which will become the biggest in Australia with 658 rooms, but then Novotel Darling Harbour is apparentely planning an expansion that will take it up to 757 rooms, bringing the title back to Sydney.

Crown set to become Australia's largest hotel
Novotel to be Australia's largest hotel!

The current largest hotel:

Well, from my experience, that's not quite true. I've stayed at the "Shinagawa Prince Hotel" in Tokyo, with 3,680 rooms and I have absolutely nothing to complain about.

Should a list of the world's largest hotels by number of rooms be created on Wikipedia?

Some of the hotels in Vegas have separate hotels within them that provide better service. Like the Four Seasons in the top floors of Mandalay Bay, the Sky Lofts at MGM, and so forth. Higher prices, of course. Some Vegas hotels also have villa rooms that are over $20,000 USD per night, like at the MGM Mansion, but they are often free if you have a million dollars credit in the casino. I think the most expensive hotel room is at the Burj Al Arab Hotel in Dubai, with a top price around $30,000 USD per night.

You'd have to be crazy to stay in such an ugly place. Looks like Liberace vomited all over the place

Imagine waking up there with a hangover.
