Is it good MCG to host semi final.! Many european fan's don't want to see far from the pitch.
2 rectangular stadium in australia .. stadium australia and brisbane stadium etc.

Ur country need to build 2-3 new rectangular's stadium for semi final. South Africa built 3 new rectangular stadium's in capetown, durban, Port Elizebeth.

2022 is 12 years away. why not new stadium's.? I don't think australia deserves host 2022 world cup.

Japan and USA are darkhorse.

This is completely wrong - 7/12 of our bid's stadiums are rectangular. See here. But this is the wrong thread, bring it up on the australian thread if you want.

USA is not the dark horse, its probably the favourite as far as I can tell.

Mo Rush, so in YOUR point of view, the real difficulty of this bid is the short distances between stadiums and such ?

_X_, Give up the Qatar-UAE joint bid idea, its less likely to happen than the Qatar bid.
The difficult of the bid is that

1. Its impossible no matter how much money you have.
2. FIFA will not allow even half the proposed venues in essentially 1 city.

qatarson, just because you have support from over 100 countries, that doesn't mean over 100 countries are and will be supporting your bid.

England also has supporters from over 100 countries, for example. I'm the USA and Australia can also say the same.

Since FIFA rejected the Doha bid last week the Qatari's have found new heights of delusion.A few people from a different country click "like"on facebook and all of a sudden its universal support

The joint bid is the only option for tiny Qatar. It allows logistical support, security support, prestige, size, diversity.

If the beautiful and world famous city of Cape Town couldn't have 2 stadiums when the demand was obviously there and with so much to do in that city then why would FIFA change the central plank of its statute for the microscopic Doha to do 12 stadiums when all you have is a sandpit as a tourist attraction-honestly?

Cutter does not have the infrastructure nor the population to support proposed construction after such an event. It would be offensive to humanity if Guitar won with the promise of a dozen white elephants built with slave labor.

Because unlike all other 8 bids Doha is such an east target.
Firstly ,its the only illegal bid
Secondly, its the only bid that has never hosted an Olympics as a stepping stone
Thirdly, its the only bid that FIFA has basically written off
Fourth,Qatar don't even have the support of its neighbours with Sheik Salman from Bahrain challenging Bin Hamman last year, while Kuwait and the Gulf Crown Princes were the driving forces behind the challenge, which also saw Platini and Blatter support the Bahraini.
Finally-no one gets rewarded when they tell another exco member "to cut off his head"
