От "старой Европы", Львов пока что отделяет именно "старость", а точнее - запущенность исторической архитектуры + другие некоторые особенности, так что разница между Восточной и Западной Европой, пока что - очевидна ;-)

But even ignorants can see a simple thing - just watch presentation of Euro 2012 host cities - Lviv by his appearance looks similar to Warsaw, Gdansk, Poznan, Wroclaw and especially Krakow There's a deep, historical and architectural link between those cities that is why Lviv seems to be a separated part of Polish cities presentation. You cannot say the same comparing Lviv with Charkow, Kiyv and Donieck. I assure those who try to deny historical facts that even drunk English football fan will be able to spot it.
