Just looking at the rankings, you can tell this analysis is flawed. Try two more ways of splicing the data, combine all three results and see how your rankings change.

Just goes to show that a thinly-populated nation can skew these sort of "popularity contests" on an internet forum, when represented by determined voting "representatives".

With the exception of the top 3, you could scatter most of the other skylines into Shanghai and they would almost disappear, save for a couple of tall structures (eg. Burj).

i am not agree with this top, most of the people in the forum vote for your own city.

Rio better than frankfurt?? nooo. Los Angeles is better, even Shenzhen is better.

And Dubai should be higher, like 4 or 5. just look the skyline

The others cities are ok....

that´s what i think!!!!

The buildings look lonely, maybe that's why it's not higher

That's North Sydney in the picture, by the way.

Nice compilation.

Your methodology results in rankings that are for the most part similiar to mine.

The density is very poor in Dubai. It might change in the future, but we not vote "future skylines".

This is the "people choice"

To think that one of the most esthetic skylines: SINGAPORE did not even made the "runner-up" list.

And a very impresive skyline like Shenzhen is only no 22.
