Yep me too. Kim Utzon isn't famous for outstanding renderings!

FYI: The Rezidor Hotel Group changed the name of the Radisson SAS chain to Radisson BLU as of yesterday.

Ah thank you Fab5 (and you're of course right)
Will a mod change the title? (I can't)

And that's sad news for us Scandinavians.

I don't know about this reconstruction, Because of the way that the glass facade looks, they may have to increase some of the lower floorplates. And what do the initials "BLU" mean in Radisson BLU?

Most of Kim Utzon's architecture is incredibly bland.

Then all of a sudden he comes up with this and Marmormolen. Kim, were you high on Crystal Meth when you designed these?

It's a drug induced Tim Burton nightmare.

Completely agree, I'm so glad he didn't won the WTC "competion" in Copenhagen:

Foster's tower is so much better:

But our airport is sure limiting the heights.

Wow this tower really looks like it needs a renovation! The new design is very futuristic, I like it

That's also quite scary. Even attempting to compare Kim Utzon's work to Sir Foster's work makes me laugh.

For the sake of Copenhagen, I hope this refacade of the Radisson will actually turn out better than the model looks. It just looks too chaotic, like it was thrown together at the last minute. In the end you guys might find yourselves wishing they'd left the original bland facade alone.

Of course not. I don't even think Kim Utzon is that appreciated in Denmark (BIG, 3XN stands more for the Danish design) But I think we'll have to wait for better renderings or to it's actually build before we judge
