Great pictures of Seattle. I had a blast staying at the W Hotel right by the Library. Seattle's an amazing city, and you capture it in a truly unique way. I tell ya', some of your shots, if I didn't know it was Seattle, I might have confused it with somewhere in Europe.

Very nice, lots of interesting viewpoints and perspectives (and maybe the world's only surviving orange Pinto/Vega/whatever it is).

Such a gorgeous city. I was there once about 12 years ago and it really is one the US's most beautiful. Thanks for the pics.

In Seattle is there some metro or only buses?
The system of the buses are linked with others?

That pic of belltown is my fav. I want other areas in Seattle to have that kind of mini-skyline.

Right now we have several bus systems inter-connected, but around Sept of 09 we will open our first phase light rail.

I almost forgot, we also have the south Lake Union trolley (slut). http://www.seattlestreetcar.org/

Seattle seems to be far behind other cities in terms of rail transit...
In july the first light rail line of 3 will open between downtown and the airport.
Those are the rails that you see in the transit tunnel pic above. The trains will share that particular tunnel underneath downtown with buses.
In five years University District extension opens
and in 12-15 years extensions north to Lynwood, east to Redmond(Microsoft) and South to Federal Way, will be complete.

What about the monorail? I thought that Seattle had a monorail? Not anymore?

Still have it. But it's always just been a spur from the CBD to the Seattle Center, the old World's Fair 62 site.
