Not all Indonesians know about the railway system you know. Ask someone outside Java and it is likely that they don't know the names for any of the railway services that runs between cities or maybe even don't know which specific towns the railway lines go through.

But maybe I should've looked at sources beforehand:
I was looking at your signature and judging from the way you wrote Indonesian, it seems that you might not be an Indonesian/native speaker, thus my conclusion. I'm sorry for my wrong conclusion
Perhaps you have been overseas for a long, long time. Hehe...

Why don't the local rail authorities build the platform ups so that level boarding can be achieved?

There are high platform on major railway stations, as well as on recently rebuilt stations.

SDT depot looks clean than several years ago with some brand new locos. I love their new livery and also the depot's environment. It reflects what PT KAI should do to become a global player.. thank you for sharing

Kampung Bandan Station. A typical multilevel platforms commuter station in Jakarta which were built to connect two lines. Upper level is for abandoned Jakarta Kota - Tanjung Priok line to be reactivated next year perhaps. Lower level is for Circle line mainly Jatinegara - Bogor route

The south view of lower platforms at Kampung Bandan station. It is located near Mangga Dua area which has a lot of trade centers there.

I don't think PT KA could qualify to become global player if they're still making many illogical decisions in the business. In fact they're way off the mark.

Agree with you, moreover ministry of transportation's policies sometimes taking opposite position with PT KAI business direction.
But, there is a hope that our railways can be better in the near future

These are the policies that I strongly consider as contra-productive in PT KA's effort to move forward:
1. The abolishing of sleeper class service
2. The installation of wire mesh on locomotive window (at one point they consider the same thing on passenger windows)
3. The usage of squat toilet to replace sitting toilet
4. The usage of buffer coaches to separate occupied passenger coach with locomotive or the tail of the train
