nice development in that area. Tianjin WFC is one of my fav projects. Too bad there are so many lower quality projects next to it.

The last picture is quite old. You can see that the World Financial Center is being constructed in the back, and is barely 15 floors in at that moment. Amazing how quickly both projects are going up. Some more pictures of the plaza here:

The fake European buildings are actually built on the site of old European buildings. The whole area used to be a European concession. The buildings closest to the bridge on the right, actually are old buildings which have been preserved. Yes, some of the buildings are a bit hokey looking, but it's a bit better than the original plan, which was to demolish the whole area and put up big glass skyscrapers and commie-blocks everywhere.
