Wow. you gotta admit, Beijing North, West and Beijing Station look really cool. Although, what would be the purpose of such tall building in Beijing North Station. Administrative purposes, perhaps?

Kuala Lumpar Station is awesome!

That is not Beijing North railway station. It is called Xihuan Plaza (西环广场), the building just southwest/west to Beijing North and Xizhimen Subway Station.

This is Beijing North:

its actually Xizhimen station, which is connected to Beijing North underground. The tall buildings are offices to let with retail underneath.

another question for you:
Why must you post pictures of every station in Beijing? Do you think all of them should be on the list? Have you even read the first post?
If you feel like a station deserves to be on the list for whatever reason, mention it, and give arguments.

What's the purpose of posting pics of every goddamn railway station in your (or any other) city? You are spamming this thread! Please read the first post and if you still feel like posting pictures, do it in another thread, for example the one about 'beautifull stations around the world'... Thank you

seriously, are you for real/??

take it easy mate, freedom of speech?

Maybe you should make a nerd-rule for how many pictures we can post per station, and not to mention any of them twice, and only for those mentioned in the original list.

btw, fyi if youre wanting a station that is most 'spammed' by pics, that would be Antwerp Station with 25 pics so far - of its station concourse, its platforms, its escalators, its facade, its scaffolding, its signage, its tunnels, its trains, its passages and Xmas trees.

But hey, who am I to complain...

-Or is this all because the Beijing one's are detracting from it's monologue?

Definitely not the best...

But in a way original and sentimental

WARSAW CENTRAL

Finished in 1975, during communistic rules in Poland. Despite all the finnancial problems and poor material quality and general situation we had at that time, which you are maybe familiar with, it's nice example of that time's architecture.

All platforms and rails are underground, building covers main hall with booking offices. Unfortunately station is untidy now... Pity, because it's really nice building.

The Chinese have some pretty imposing stations.

I love the European stations. They are great.

Thx, but now it needs renovation. Our Polish State Railways lives still 30 years ago For them it's problem to clean this station, they prefer to hang big-size advertisments on the outside
But if we are to believe them, they say that before Euro 2012 they'll improve conditions... Now they're working with LCD screens with informations...

It's okay. I mean, that's the state of almost all American railways, right?

Maybe some of the Dutch forumers have better renders? I remember that it looks huge from above. Completely massive.

Beijing West (when it was completed 13 years ago) was the largest station in Asia and I believe it still holds that title, or is at least in the top 3. It handles 300,000 passangers daily.

And I do not believe this station made it on the list

Shanghai South Station is the first of its kind in the world, employing a spherical design maximizing roof area while minimizing land use.
