This is a more responsible plan indeed. The money to upgrade with PTC safety measures required for 110 mph operation would amount to only a fraction of the cost of maglev.

It should end at Union Station, because on this way you would be inter-connecting Metrolink, Amtrak, and MTA systems all under the same roof.
