Indeed, great thread mei Katz. You're surpassing yourself lately, astounding!
Honestly, don't want to suck up to you. I don't love Berlin (there's just too much about it I don't like, architecturally as well as politically), but I definitely like it in many ways and adore its function as one of the main cultural centers in the world, as well as it being our capital. That said, Berlin could do a lot more with all its potential (demolishing all those nasty commieblocks in Mitte, for instance). By the by: What happened to your "random-shot"-thread (or whatever it was called)? Haven't seen it around for a long time.

Good stuff! Ku'damm is a fantastic street even if it has lost a little of its former shine due to lots of money being diverted to the east of the city.

 The red arrow marks the Fernsehturm (~370m), located in the eastern part of of the inner city. The picture was taken from the Kranzler-Eck, in the western part of the inner city area. This image gives a nice idea of how big Berlin is, although the density is much lower if compared to other cities (~3800/km²) |

ten years is definately a long time, though I think the biggest changes happened 10-15 years ago. So why dont you come over? Reichenberg is not so far away
