I'm the same way. I'm waiting for the other shoe to drop but hope it doesn't. It seems the Mariners play to the opposite of their expectations. They'll play well until people start considering them good, then they'll pack it in.

Last year I think they woulda blown that. Maybe the fact they held on this time is indicative of better things this year.

i hear ya, beating the angels is a huge indicator of a difference this year, they wiped the floor with us last year.

Good game going right now, headed to the bottom of the 15th. But I must say, after watching the NBA playoffs then switching over to Dave Sims calling this game is quite a downer, I can hardly keep my eyes open. lol. Anyway, go Ms!!!

I agree...Dave Sims seems so artificial and deliberate as a baseball announcer. He may be one heck of a football guy, but I'd like to find some new enthusiasm for our airways.

^ Indeed. I hate to say it, but I think May is probably still closer to where this team is really at. Still, shouldn't be too hard to improve on last season by 15+ wins, which is great progress considering some of the salary burdens like Silva.

I swear, everytime I go to a game, that fat pig Silva is pitching. He should be arrested for stealing money when he goes into the office to pick up his paycheck.

I'd rather have some kid down in the minors come up and get some seasoning rather than have that scuz pitch. At least with a kid pitching, there is a chance we won't be down 5-0 in the 3rd inning.
